Shark populations around the world are in rapid decline. Sharks also grow very slowly, take many years to mature and produce relatively few young. This dashboard is an attempt at raising awareness on 16 of the most famous sharks in the world. Select any shark from the dashboard to see its endangered status, general stats, where it lives as well as some interesting facts!

 

The dashboard also provides links for those interested in taking action. IUCN "Take action" button as well as the "WWF Adopt a Shark" Programs are available for those who want to make a difference.
